All those months of waiting and I can now tell those of you that have been asking what my future plans are! I have partnered with The Military Shopping Channels as it’s Executive Producer and On-Air Host! It’s an exciting opportunity dedicated to exclusively serving the needs and lifestyles of the Armed Forces, both Active Duty and Retired! I will continue to do Infomercials and of the other services offered by my company Cremeans Media!
Today is the 1st anniversary of the passing of infomercial legend and friend, Billy Mays. The following is something I did shortly after that awful day…
He left us way too soon…
It started off as any other Sunday. A cup of coffee, reading news sites and planning the days activities. Who would have thought that one phone call would change my day…and life forever. My brother called me and said that WFLA radio was reporting unconfirmed reports that Billy Mays had died. First I couldn’t believe it. I did not want to think a friend of mine had passed so unexpectedly. I listened to the radio…I checked the internet…I talked to my friends. Then, it was confirmed…Billy had passed away in his sleep. I could not believe he was gone, but my thoughts immediately went to his family and other friends. Prayers were not enough…
The following is a tribute that I put together on my thoughts that day, and the terrible sadness that filled a nation…
I traveled to Pittsburgh on to pay my respects to a man I truly looked up to and admired. Someone that made everyone he met feel important. He was kind and generous, the Billy I knew, and he was sent to God’s arms by friends and family.
God Billy, you will be missed…but never forgotten!
It’s hard to believe it has been a year since I last took to the airwaves for HSN. What an incredible company to have been tied to for so many years. It truly was an amazing time. Do I miss it? Sure! But I’ve really been having a good time, being my own boss, and working with some fantastic people with unbelievable ideas. I’ll be letting you know as time goes on what I’m up to and what is happening in me life and my company, Cremeans Media!
I can’t help but feel my efforts over the last several days were amazingly successful! From my meetings with Kevin Harrington and his associates there will be several announcements over the next few weeks and months that will be very exciting. I’ll be following up with the some of the other people as well that made this trip such a success! Honestly I can’t help but be excited about my future…
These are definitely exciting times for me and my company, Cremeans Media! I’ve been working hard on several projects to bring them in to fruition by July 1st, of which I will tell you about as that date gets closer. I’ll be heading to the Response Expo in San Diego in May, and the ERA D2C Convention to be held in Las Vegas in September. There will be lots of networking and meetings as I set up my fall schedule! I hope to see some of you there!
